From 0478fe0b99c09a8e544cf5cc12b7806fb293ff88 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Paul Menzel Date: Mon, 27 Jan 2020 10:36:00 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] linux-5.5: Set CONFIG_PSI=y Collect metrics that indicate how overcommitted the CPU, memory, and IO capacity are in the system. If you say Y here, the kernel will create /proc/pressure/ with the pressure statistics files cpu, memory, and io. These will indicate the share of walltime in which some or all tasks in the system are delayed due to contention of the respective resource. In kernels with cgroup support, cgroups (cgroup2 only) will have cpu.pressure, memory.pressure, and io.pressure files, which aggregate pressure stalls for the grouped tasks only. --- linux-5.5-318.bee | 1 + 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+) diff --git a/linux-5.5-318.bee b/linux-5.5-318.bee index 9c2aa649b..e9ea6f271 100755 --- a/linux-5.5-318.bee +++ b/linux-5.5-318.bee @@ -54,6 +54,7 @@ mee_configure() { CONFIG_BSD_PROCESS_ACCT_V3=y CONFIG_TASK_XACCT=y CONFIG_TASK_IO_ACCOUNTING=y + CONFIG_PSI=y CONFIG_IKCONFIG=y CONFIG_IKCONFIG_PROC=y CONFIG_CGROUPS=y
