From 819b31e4b4ad5d7235b7b1201cd60b1c0446142c Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Donald Buczek Date: Thu, 19 Sep 2019 15:10:30 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] linux-5.3: Set CONFIG_PSI=y Collect metrics that indicate how overcommitted the CPU, memory, and IO capacity are in the system. If you say Y here, the kernel will create /proc/pressure/ with the pressure statistics files cpu, memory, and io. These will indicate the share of walltime in which some or all tasks in the system are delayed due to contention of the respective resource. In kernels with cgroup support, cgroups (cgroup2 only) will have cpu.pressure, memory.pressure, and io.pressure files, which aggregate pressure stalls for the grouped tasks only. --- linux-5.3-291.bee | 1 + 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+) diff --git a/linux-5.3-291.bee b/linux-5.3-291.bee index b2de9a65d..fc31e1be2 100755 --- a/linux-5.3-291.bee +++ b/linux-5.3-291.bee @@ -52,6 +52,7 @@ mee_configure() { CONFIG_BSD_PROCESS_ACCT_V3=y CONFIG_TASK_XACCT=y CONFIG_TASK_IO_ACCOUNTING=y + CONFIG_PSI=y CONFIG_IKCONFIG=y CONFIG_IKCONFIG_PROC=y CONFIG_CGROUPS=y
