From ee05d314e3c74d32116ad29df8023f65ac65ccfd Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Donald Buczek Date: Mon, 7 Oct 2019 09:53:43 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] linux-5.4_rc2: Set CONFIG_PSI=y Collect metrics that indicate how overcommitted the CPU, memory, and IO capacity are in the system. If you say Y here, the kernel will create /proc/pressure/ with the pressure statistics files cpu, memory, and io. These will indicate the share of walltime in which some or all tasks in the system are delayed due to contention of the respective resource. In kernels with cgroup support, cgroups (cgroup2 only) will have cpu.pressure, memory.pressure, and io.pressure files, which aggregate pressure stalls for the grouped tasks only. --- linux-5.4_rc2-295.bee | 1 + 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+) diff --git a/linux-5.4_rc2-295.bee b/linux-5.4_rc2-295.bee index 1eb68c4b2..b7197c52b 100755 --- a/linux-5.4_rc2-295.bee +++ b/linux-5.4_rc2-295.bee @@ -54,6 +54,7 @@ mee_configure() { CONFIG_BSD_PROCESS_ACCT_V3=y CONFIG_TASK_XACCT=y CONFIG_TASK_IO_ACCOUNTING=y + CONFIG_PSI=y CONFIG_IKCONFIG=y CONFIG_IKCONFIG_PROC=y CONFIG_CGROUPS=y
