Dell OptiPlex 5080 (Intel Comet Lake) not fully supported by Linux 5.4 (no network) #1878

Testing the Dell OptiPlex 5080, the Linux network driver does not initialize the network card, as Intel Comet Lake is not supported yet. Support is added in Linux 5.5 commit 914ee9c4 (e1000e: Add support for Comet Lake).

The Intel processor is not supported fully, as it makes a high pitched noise.

No issue with Linux 5.9-rc4.
