Well, ln -sfv ../../libexec/gcc/$(gcc -dumpmaschine)/$VERSION/liblto_plugin.so lib/bfd-plugins/ is a bit of a showstopper, use -dumpmachine -- and take care when copying from 7.2.x or 7.3.x :)
