The content of the text box "Search description" is not indexed by the internal search and words given in this box do not turn up in the global search. This does not seem right.

E.g. the description of the following page contains "Telefon" in the "Search description" field:
https://intranet.molgen.mpg.de/admin/pages/225/edit/#tab-promote

In the search results, only answering machines and telephone manuals show up, because the search term is present in the German version of the main text:
https://intranet.molgen.mpg.de/search?query=telefon

Martin, the suggested fix in PR #32 is already active on the life system. Does this fix your issue? Note, that search_description is not only indexed, but also shown on the search result page.

It unfortunately does not seem to fix it. Try "Telefonbuch" does not accur anywhere except for the search description of https://intranet.molgen.mpg.de/de/service/telephone-list/

Maybe it is necessary to re-index the pages?

Hi David, are you sure? Or did something break in the meantime? Searching for "Telefonbuch" does not give me any results ...

It works after a manual update_index UNTIL someone saves the page. Strange...

Sorry, I forgot to restart apache after updating the software. So database-driven search and standalone update_index worked, but not updating of the index from edits. Please try again.
