Hmmm. That is strange. Its the same video as you uploaded to https://intranet2.molgen.mpg.de., isn't it? https://intranet.molgen.mpg.de and https://intranet.molgen.mpg.de/ are more or less the same. I'll have a look. For the records:

Okay. intranet2 had apache httpd 2.4.46 and intranet had apache httpd 2.4.39. As this was one of the very few differences, I've upgrade apache on the main server to 2.4.46, too, and now it works. This is really surprising, because 2.4.39 is already rather old on the 2.4 branch and shouldn't have to many bugs left. |

It seems like there is no way of displaying moving pictures in Wagtail (uploading video and playing them with a HTML5 player, or even a animated GIF).
Is there a way to have this capability without having to rely on external sources like Youtube or Vimeo?
I found this plugin which aims for "feature parity with images but for html5 videos" https://pypi.org/project/wagtail-videos/
