Notes

These are my own personal notes on a number of things around the MRI-keyboard. They aren't intended to be a guide to the keyboard or the program.

misc

  • the ubuntu notebook (NPSY 10) is managed by Maren Grigutsch (A212)
  • docstring syntax for py is defined in PEP 257
  • v1 and v2 of the program use pyserial v2.5 for the serial connection
  • use ntpd -q as root to manually kill the NTP daemon and ntpd to start it again but just calling ntpd seemed to help in most cases as well and is faster
  • location of all related files: /nobackup/sauer1/EXPERIMENTS/PIAMOtop/TPIAMO_MR
    • converter is in .../DATA/reformat_behavioural
  • location of the files related to JAM: /nobackup/sauer2/EXPERIMENTS/JAM
