I'd vote for a remove . this is very bioinformatics-specific and should either be put in a /pkg or /package/sequencer.

It's already in package/sequencer ->
/package/sequencer/zzz_OBSOLETE_2018/trinity/r20140717/trinity-plugins/TransDecoder_r20140704/3rd_party/cd-hit-v4.6.1-2012-08-27, to me the path is rather self explaining. I opt for a removal.
