https://download.gnome.org/sources/glib/2.90/glib-2.90.0.news 2.90.0 opens the new stable series. The jump from 2.88.3 also brings the fix for CVE-2026-16118, a heap overflow in the XDG MIME magic parser, released in 2.89.4.
