We currently have "wakeonlan" in /usr/local/bin. This was installed as a
bee-installed Perl package for obsoleted Perl in /usr/local.

The script is self-contained. Import it into mxtools so that we don't
loose it if we purge the wakeonlan bee package and the Perl in
/usr/local.

Not worth it. If we want to spend 5 minutes on it, we should replace it with a smaller script or program. Its just one crafted ethernet package, everything else is unjustified overhead.

This PR is just to enable us to remove the Perl package. So it might be preferable to stick to the same script so that we don't turn to many knobs at the same time. Not that anyone would care. I guess this script is called manually twice a year.

Btw: I'm sure I once already made a trivial wake command. I just don't find it.

Sorry, just wanted to document, where it comes from, and didn’t mean to update to it.
