I'm a doctoral researcher in the bioinformatics group in MPI-HLR (IMPRS) and working on several projects in close collaboration with Soni Pullamsetti’s lab. .

I obtained my Bachelor’s in biological science from University of Tehran, followed by a Masters degree in cellular and developmental biology from Royan Institute in Tehran, Iran. During my Masters, I learned many bioinformatics tools and analysis methods, and in October 2018, I started my PhD at Max Planck Institute. My research is mainly focused on transcriptome data analysis in which I explore many techniques both wet-lab and in-silico to discover complex cardiovascular diseases such as pulmonary hypertension.
