Hi, my name is Jens.

I'm a computational biologist at the MPI-HLR, interested in sustainability and clever solutions, as well as sequencing, single cells and regeneration.

My research focuses mainly on large-scale experiments and the development of methods/workflows for analysis of -omics data, especially in single cells. Besides high-throughput sequencing and transcriptomics in the process of regeneration, heart development and cancer formation, I gained experience in experiment design, statistical computing and analysis of small-sample data during my bachelor and master studies. I did my PhD on the interface of cancer mechanisms and precision medicine.
