Hi, my name is Vanessa.
After an apprenticeship as computer science expert in software development I obtained my B.Sc. in Bioinformatics from the university of applied sciences Giessen, where I worked at the IBVA as student assistant. I than obtained my M.Sc. in Bioinformatics and Systembiologies from the Justus-Liebig-University, Giessen. During my master studies I continued my work at the IBVA and finished my thesis in collaboration with the MPI-HLR investigating the topic of binding distance between co-occurring transcription binding sites.
My PhD studies are centered on identifying genetic directional depencies in CRISPR pertubation screens.
