Philipp Goymann
I received my bachelor’s degree in biology from the Justus Liebig University of Giessen. My bachelor thesis dealt with the annotation of proteins. I received my Master’s degree in “Bioinformatics and Systems Biology” from the Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen in cooperation with the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen. During my master thesis I investigated cloud computing. I set up a pipeline for our tool TOBIAS to run on a Kubernetes infrastructure. My work as a data analyst is mainly focused on cloud computing, I support our in-house software MaMpok, which runs in the background of the BCU repository. However, I am interested in single cell RNA-seq.
