Hi, I am Mario.
As a team leader at the MPI-HLR, I’m involved in aspects of recent developments in applied bioinformatics, strategic planning of IT infrastructure, project management and teaching. My research interest is the implementation and application of new large-scale methods/workflows for the analysis of -omics data, more recently with a focus on single cell resolution. I’m also fascinated by opportunities given to bioinformaticians by latest technologies such as cloud computing.
