Make sure Wi-Fi is turned on and the eduroam network is visible.

  • In the menu bar, choose eduroam from the Wi-Fi network names displayed.
  • Supply your CPFS account credentials. Type username@cpfs.mpg.de in the Account Name field and your CPFS password in the Password field.

    Note that although the username looks like an e-mail address, it isn't: The first part before the @ symbol is not your e-mail address name (that would be "Burkhard.Schmidt" in my case), but rather your CPFS account's name. Make sure "Remember this network" is checked and click Connect.
  • The very first connection attempt might take a while, after which your Mac will display a certificate of our account server you have to accept.

    Select "Always trust RDSRV1.cpfs.mpg.de" and click Continue.

    Supply username and password of your local account on the Mac in order to store the certificate in your login keychain.</li> </ul>
